Our first restaurant opened in Twickenham, London on the 7th March of 2009, bringing you traditional, authentic Italian ingredients and cuisine not often experienced outside of Italy. Tommaso Aniello
Masaniello takes its name after Tommaso Aniello 1620-1647, a Neapolitan revolutionist who freed the Neapolitans and surrounding area from the overly burdensome Spanish, French and corrupt tax collectors.

Both Maria and Livio grew up surrounded by the amazing cuisine and kitchen craft of their respective families businesses. Much, much later a lucky coincidences brought their shared background, drive and enthusiasm together to turn a long held passion, idea and dream into reality, Masaniello.
